Foods to Avoid

You can still eat a healthy, balanced diet while undergoing orthodontic treatment. Among the list you'll find hard foods, chewy or sticky foods, and foods high in sugar. Hard foods can break or damage brackets and wires. Stick foods can get caught between wires and brackets. Foods high in sugar can cause tooth decay and other oral health problems. Using common sense will help you navigate the foods you should avoid.
