Retention

When your orthodontic treatment is coming to an end, you will be given retainers, to retain the new shape of your teeth.

You will need to wear your retainers every night, until the doctor tells you otherwise.

Always store your retainer in a safe place and in the case provided to you.

Retainers need to be cleaned once a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Use warm, but not hot, water. Once a month you may soak your retainer in 1:2 vinegar and water for 8 hours to give it a deeper cleaning.

If you lose your retainer call us right away so we can make you a new one.
